Was in Korea. Had to rush home due to a family emergency. :( Flew into Vancouver and spent time there. Came home to Tdot via Via rail. Wicked trip. Then went to Durban South Africa. Stayed with the BF for almost 5 months. Fun times filled with love, scuba diving, and skiing in Africa. Came home. Broke up with BF :( Became a snow school director. CRAZIEST. JOB. EVER. Decided instead of quitting to go on a month long ski trip to Revelstoke BC. Met up with the Kingissepp family. LOVE them! Now relaxing for the summer trying to figure out my next step.Pheww did I make that in 100 words or less?? Well 102....it was close.
It's funny how you think that one day the skies will open up and you will have it all figured out. I don't think it actually happens that way. I think it's a constant process of self discovery. You may one day wake up to realize the things you once thought were important aren't and that there are things vital to life that at one point were not even on your radar.
I do know more about myself now after having been in Korea. It was a hard experience but one I would not change. It also opened up the door of travel for me and now I know my life as I know it will never be the same. There is something so freeing living out of a backpack just following your heart and seeing things you've only ever seen pictures of and read about. There is still so much more to see!!
I do know this...I want the life less traveled and not the traditional path set out by our parents. I yearn for adventure and change....or maybe that's just my undiagnosed ADD kicking in!!
